Organised by Datateam Business Media, publisher of Builders Merchants Journal (BMJ), the inaugural BMJ Industry Awards shone a spotlight on the building industry’s most outstanding people, merchants and brands.

How it works
The BMJ Industry Awards are split into three sections.
Covering a range of different sectors, from plumbing to heavy sides, timber to landscaping, kitchens to bathrooms, roofing to heating – there is something for everyone.
New, independent and online merchants will have their chance to shine with categories for each, as well as awards for stand-out achievements at a regional and national level.
Designed to recognise those who go above and beyond in pursuit of excellence, the ‘Personality of the Year’, ‘Best Customer Service’ and ‘Best Sales Rep’ categories are sure to be hotly contested.
Brands, merchants and individuals may enter any of the relevant categories and make nominations online. Merchants are encouraged to support brands by nominating them for an award and vice versa.
Championing the voice of the industry
Entries and nominations that met the necessary criteria were allowed through to the voting stage.
A secure online voting process produced a shortlist in each category, with the winners being those who have attracted the most votes overall.

⋅ Multiple votes from one person (or excessive votes [50+] from one company will be discounted.
⋅ All voting categories should be completed where possible.
